TIRANA, June 23 – Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha addressed a message to Prime Minister Edi Rama after the non-opening of negotiations, a decision taken at the EU Summit with the leaders of the Western Balkans in Brussels on Thursday.
Berisha said in a FB post that Rama behaved in the summit where he said he would not go like a mangy goat holding its tail up and Rama stole the third term, he did not win it.
“You did not win the third term, but you stole it! That is why negotiations with you are never opened !!” Berisha told Rama. Further he said Rama was puzzled by the big ‘NO’ of the EU leaders for the opening of negotiations with Albania and North Macedonia. “He beat his chest saying proudly: ‘I was faced with winning a third term to keep waiting for the talks to open and it was too much to tell the truth that the reason is not just Bulgaria,'” Berisha said.
“In fact, I tell this joker, the main reason, as he himself claims, is not Bulgaria, but exactly the third mandate he was kidnapped by stealing votes. This is the reason of all the reasons that the EU does not open negotiations with Albania. Negotiations with Edi Ramaf will never open! On July 7, you are all invited to the protest! Rama’s departure is the salvation of Albania!” said Berisha.
