TIRANA, May 27 – Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias, in an interview given to Radio Sky in Athens, stated that he is eagerly waiting for the leave from office of the President of the Republic, Ilir Meta after two months, to resolve “comfortably”, according to him, with Rama, the issue of the sea border.
For the Greek Foreign Minister, the issue of the maritime border has not been resolved yet, because according to him this is related to the disputes between Rama and Meta, when it is known that the latter, according to the constitution, should authorize the government to enter negotiations.
“He (Edi Rama) agreed with us to go to The Hague according to the rules of international law. This has not been done yet as the President does not give the relevant authority to the Prime Minister. It seems that Albania will elect a new President within the next two-three months. So, all this (the issue of the sea border) will be resolved comfortably after this period “, said Dendias for Radio Sky after his visit to Tirana.
