TIRANA, June 1 – The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti announceds on Tuesday that the next meeting between the Government of Kosovo and that of Albania will be held at the end of June.
Kurti has asked all ministries to consider with high priority the issues of areas and topics of agreements with Albania and to have draft agreements ready by June 10. The last joint meeting between the Government of Kosovo and that of Albania was held on November 26 last year which was held in the city of Elbasan.
There is no information what projects have been carried out which were endorsed in the first meeting of the two governments. An issue which divides premiers Edi Rama and Kurti is the initiative ‘Open Balkans’ as Pristina insists on rejecting participation in it.
