TIRANA, September 19 – The Prosecutor’s Office of Tirana has taken a decision that the data which are made public by the authors who are behind the cyber attacks should not be published by the media.
Through an official notification to the media on Monday, it is learned that in case of violation of this decision, the investigation against the media will be started immediately.
“The prosecutor’s office has decided that no data published by the authors of the cyber attack should be published by audiovisual, print and online media, on social networks or in any form of publication or transfer of data posted by the authors of this cyber attack on the TIMS system of the State Police,” said the notification of the prosecution.
Further it said that prosecution had tasked Unit C for the investigation of Cybercrime in the State Police, the Audiovisual Media Authority (AMA) and the Electronic and Postal Communications Authority (AKEP) to gather all the up-to-now and future information of the data subject to seizure,” it is stated in the notification of the Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the announcement, AMA and AKEP will collect data and anyone found guilty will be held accountable.
