TIRANA, June 22 – The creation of “Civic Resistance for Albania” was announced at a roundtable held by the chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha and civil society activists in Tirana on Wednesday.
Some 56 first activists signed a document on the creation of this Resistance center and they will also frame the calendar of activities that will take place for the defense of Albania which is in danger from the government of Edi Rama.
This civic resistance will coordinate its activity with the structures of the Democratic Party and all other opposition parties.
The document signed by the activists of the Civic Resistance for Albania said as following: “I commit that I will defend and work for the values of the nation as Albanian!
I pledge to vigorously defend the values of democracy and the rule of law! I commit that I will work for the rapprochement of Albania with the European Union and the values of the West!
I pledge that I will fulfill every challenge for my country to be a free country where the rule of law and the best civic values rule!
I pledge, as an intellectual and activist, that I will make a civic resistance in defense of the above-mentioned values! “/Argumentum.al
