It has been a failure the new round of experts’ level talks held between Kosovo and Serbia in Brussels on Thursday, according to a statement released by the Government of Kosovo quoted by local media in Pristina on Friday.
“Both parties have failed to narrow their differences in discussing financial claims and property Issues,”it is said.
Kosovo’s experts level team was headed by the State Coordinator on Dialogue, Skender Hyseni, whereas Serbia by the Director of Serbian Government Office for Kosovo, Petar Petkovic. The Dialogue is facilitated by the EU special representative, Miroslav Lajcak.
“Topics of the discussions were pensions and cadastre. This discussion was a continuation of addressing these topics from previous meeting held on 29 October 2020,” added the Kosovo government statement.
“Despite long discussions, there is no significant narrowing of differences. Nevertheless, it was agreed that these elements of the comprehensive agreement between the two countries to continue,” concluded the official announcement. /argumentum.al
