The veteran Democrat figure, Sali Berisha said in a meeting with supporters of the ‘House of Freedom’ in the municipality of Vora on Monday that Rama still continues to defend the “Open Balkans” at a time when Serbia has not condemned Russian aggression against Ukraine and has opposed sanctions against Moscow.
The candidate of the ‘Freedom of House’ Lulzim Vrana, who will run for the post of Mayor of Vora, was introduced in the event.
Berisha took the opportunity to respond to declarations of PM Edi Rama who said from Washington a few days ago that Russia is not the enemy of freedom, according to the portal Syri.net.
Berisha said that with his decisions, Rama received the ‘black passport’ of the anti-Albanian.
Russia, said Berisha, has fought against Albania and Albanians for centuries. “There is a war in the heart of Europe, Russia has attacked its neighbor, Ukraine. Edi Rama still defends the ‘Open Balkans’ led entirely by Serbia as a vassal of Serbia,” he said.
Further on the veteran Democrat said Serbia not only did not condemn the aggression against Ukraine, but rather opposed the suspension of Russia from the Council of Europe.
“Rama would tell us during his visit to Washington that Russia is not our enemy. But if Russia is not our enemy, there is no greater enemy for us than Russia on earth. Such has been the case for centuries. It has tried with its power to cause the worst harms against Albania and Albanians everywhere,” said Berisha. / Argumentum.al
