Some 45 citizens who have been confirmed positive with COVID-19 are also receiving specialized services in the two COVID hospitals and they are currently negative, but they are continuing to receive hospital treatment because of the consequences of the disease,” said the Health Ministry.
Meanwhile, the epidemiologist, Rexhep Muja, who is part of the groups that take tests of the suspects with COVID19 at their homes, said the number of people infected with coronavirus in Tirana is increasing by dozens of cases every day while the suspects are hundreds.
According to him, the hottest areas in Tirana in terms of the spread of those infected by COVID-19 are Ish-Blloku, Astir, Fresku, Kamza, Paskuqan, and Kinostudio. Currently almost 60 percent of the nationwide active infected cases are in Tirana.
