Besides that tragic news on the fatalities in its announcement on Sunday Ministry of Health reported that 152 new cases were found, bringing the total number to 8,275
since the beginning of the pandemic.
The details of the updated statistics reveal that there are currently 148 patients hospitalized with the virus, and 19 are in intensive care with 7 intubated in critical condition.
But the Ministry considered good news that 148 people had recovered in the last 24 hours. “Today is the day with the highest number of healed patients. 148 citizens have won the battle with COVID19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of healed people to 4,332 since the beginning of the epidemic.”

the spread of C19 infection, the Ministry of Health calls on citizens to respect the measures to prevent this infection,” said the statement asking people to wear a mask indoors and where distance can not be maintained, to take care of personal hygiene, to maintain physical distance, and to disinfect the objects touched.
But the senior Democratic Party official, Tritan Shehu lashed out at the health system in Albania in a post under the headline: “‘Free'” renaissance healthcare: pay or die!””
“To some, this title may seem very brutal, but unfortunately it is real for the catastrophic state of our health system,” said Shehu, a former Health Minister.
Further on he said that this Government must understand that it is a constitutional right of the citizens to receive appropriate, especially urgent medical assistance.”It is its duty to provide this and the relevant services, as it is obliged that this be free for all emergencies.”
Finally DP’s Shehu had a question for the Prime Minister, Edi Rama, the creator of “free healthcare”: “What about the citizens, who cannot afford to pay, how do they end up?”/argumentum.al
