CAA:
The Council of Albanian Ambassadors had a great exchange of views with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom in Tirana, Alastair King-Smith.
Promoting further our bilateral relations, particularly in trade, education and culture was the main focus our discussions.
The United Kingdom continues to be a key partner in fostering democracy and institution-building, including its solid support on Albania’s European course.
Regardless of BREXIT CAA is encouraged to see an increasing role of the UK in Albania and the Western Balkans, reinforcing its role as an international key player strengthening peace, stability and the European perspective of the region.

Our exchange touched upon latest developments in Ukraine, following Russia’s unjustified snd unprovoked aggression, and its impact on European security.
