TIRANA, September 14 – Prime Minister Edi Rama’s government has approved the decision to increase the minimum wage and pensions, said the Minister of Finance and Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj on Wednesday.
Ibrahimaj said, “the government’s decision is about the indexation of pensions at the level of 6%. The pension increase goes up to the level of 9.5% for 2022 due to this second indexation.”
Ibrahimaj said that all categories of pensioners – about 678,000 pensioners across the country – benefit from this decision.
According to her, the effects of the decision will be reflected in the pensions of September.
