TIRANA – The situation at the border between Albania and Kosovo is calm and there have not been any revolts in Kosovo, Albanian Ambassador to Pristina Qemal Minxhozi has told a local media on Wednesday.
“The situation at the border is calm. There have been no cases of revolts in Kosovo. We have already a stability of movements. The awareness of the people is very positive. Citizens communicate with the municipalities for any need they have. There are 30 citizens of Kosovo who have left the hospital,” said Minxhozi in a live interview with News 24 TV.
Further on he said that whoever comes to Kosovo must enter the mandatory quarantine. He added that Kosovo has taken stricter measures than Albania.
“Whoever enters Kosovo must stay in mandatory quarantine. The export of fruits and vegetables will start in Kosovo. The measures taken in Kosovo are harsher than in Albania,” said the Ambassador.
In the meantime he pointed out that Albania and Kosovo are not in a state of alert. “We need to be careful not only about ourselves but also about others. We all need to come out of this situation as a society,” concluded Minxhozi./argumentum.al
