TIRANA – “Young people are the future of the country and the hope of the nation. China and Albania attach great importance to education, which is also an important area of bilateral cooperation,” has said Chinese Ambassador to Albania Zhou Ding.
Ambassador Zhou made that comment while Chinese Embassy donated recently educational equipment to the “Ali Demi” High School in Vlora. Chinese Ambassador Zhou Ding and “Ali Demi” High School Director Roland Dervishi were present at the donation ceremony via video, said China Radio International (CRI) on Saturday
Zhou said that young people are the future of the country and the hope of the nation. “China and Albania attach great importance to education, which is also an important area of bilateral cooperation,” said the Ambassador.
“Ali Demi” High School is a well-known school in southern Albania and is ranked in the first places for high quality teaching. Last year, the Chinese language curriculum started at this school.
“I am very pleased to have the opportunity to provide assistance for the activity of the “Ali Demi” school and I look forward to meeting with the teachers and students of the school after the epidemic. I hope both sides will maintain friendly cooperation and help students to become talents with an international vision, as well as heirs of Sino-Albanian friendship and participants in the cooperation between the two parties,” said Ambassador Zhou.
Director Dervishi, for his part, said that donations from the Chinese embassy have raised the level of school modernization, providing facilities for school work. All teachers and students are very grateful for this. “Ali Demi” High School will strive for a better quality of teaching and to make students valuable to the country and society, also contributing to the consolidation of Sino-Albanian friendship.
