TIRANA, September 1 – An appeal has been made by the chairman of the opposition Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha to Bulgaria to file a lawsuit against the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama for his criticism against Sofia for allegedly obstructing the negotiation process for Albania and North Macedonia.
According to Berisha, Bulgaria should also require a drug test of Rama.
“Edi Rama himself is doing everything to block the opening of negotiations with the European Union,” said Berisha in a press conference on Thursday.
In addition Berisha said it is an attack and cold war that Rama has declared against Bulgaria, a friendly country brutally attacked by him.
“How you can cheat 8 years that Bulgaria prevented us. Apologizing to the Bulgarian government, I call on it to put him on trial for defamation. But they should also ask for a drug test. Only a person who has lost all reason because of political or narcotic reasons can allow himself to undertake an attack on a friendly and ally country, as Rama does,” said Berisha. /Argumentum.al
