TIRANA, August 21 – The serious and reprehensible incident of the chemical attack on soldiers at the Gramsh Plant by Russian “tourists”, “bloggers” or “agents” has highlighted the shocking fact of the capitulation of national security, said the General Secretary of the Freedom Party (FP), Tedi Blushi in a post on social networks on Sunday.
According to him, Defense Minister Niko Peleshi is lying when he says that Russian “tourists” or “agents” have been under observation for several days.
“It is refuted by the already detained Russians themselves. Because the undeniable truth is that since 2018, these “tourists”, “bloggers” or “agents” have not left a military base without visiting,” he said, adding that there are photos which prove that they have also entered the Base of Gjadri and in any protected military base where they have wanted for at least four years and Saturday’s aggression had to happen for them to be stopped.
Blushi held accountable the Prime Minister, the Minister of Defense, the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the State Intelligence Service, the State Police, Anti-Terrorism and any other institution or structure charged by law to protect national security.
“This event cannot pass without responsibility and resignation at the highest levels of the Government and the Armed Forces, who were brought to their knees in shame by three Russian “tourists”, “bloggers” or “agents” with a spray bottle in hand!” Blushi said.
