TIRANA, September 5 – The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan will have a tour of meetings in the Balkans in the frame of visits to some countries in which Albania is not included, according to official reports from Ankara quoted by local media on Monday.
As details show Erdogan’s tour will start on September 6 and he is expected to visit Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.President Erdogan will start his three-day visit to Sarajevo where he will arrive on Tuesday, September 6. He will meet with the head of state of this country, which has been in a deep political crisis in recent years. The two countries established official diplomatic relations on August 29, 1992.On the second day of the official tour in the Balkans, Erdogan will travel to Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, where he will talk with officials of this country.
Erdogan will end his ‘mini-diplomatic’ tour in the region with an official visit to the Republic of Croatia on September 8.
