TIRANA, March 28. The validity for a new US tourist or business visa will be extended from three to ten years for Albanian citizens starting from April 1 this year.
This was announced by the US Ambassador, Yuri Kim on Monday.
In her message, Ambassador Kim said that as the 100th anniversary of US-Albania relations is celebrated, she is pleased to share with Albanians a wonderful piece of news that she believes will bring Americans and Albanians even closer together.
“Starting from April 1, the validity for a new tourist or business visa will be extended from three to 10 years. This means that if you are an Albanian citizen who obtains a tourist or business visa on April 1 or later, th your visa will be valid for 10 years, not just three,” she said. According to her, the US decision to extend the visa to ten years reflects the fact that more and more Albanians are following the rules when visiting the United States.
“I hope we find even more ways to bring Albanians and Americans together. We look forward to welcoming you to the United States and look forward to another 100 years as friends. Thank you!” Kim said. /Argumentum.al
