TIRANA, July 8- Albanian Premier Edi Rama has reacted after the murder of former Japanese Premier Shinzo Abe. Abe was shot today while he was speaking in an electoral campaign, in the southern city of Nara.
Rama expressed his condolences to the family, adding that the assassination of Shinzo Abe highlights how much the foundations of democracy are shaken when politicians are seen as enemies to be destroyed and not as opponents to be engaged.
“Shocked and saddened by the death of former PM Shinzo Abe. Our deepest condolences to his family and the people of Japan. His murder highlights how much the foundations of democracy are shaken when politicians are seen as enemies to be destroyed and not as adversaries to engage!”, Rama tweeted.
