Presidents of Albania and Kosovo share same opinions on coordinating fight against human trafficking

TIRANA, May 25 – In the framework of the “Forum of Balkan Freedom” President Ilir Meta held a warm meeting with the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, who participated in this event in Tirana on Tuesday.

“We shared the same assessment that the institutions of both countries, especially the law enforcement ones, need to increase capacity and better coordinate in the joint fight against trafficking in human beings, as well as any other type of trafficking that threatens national security,” said the head of state in a post on FB on Tuesday.

In addition, Meta considered the exchange of experiences for effective legal protection of all victims of trafficking to be extremely necessary, offering them more access and unconditional assistance. /Argumentum.al
