Analysts commented in a talk show on News24 TV on Monday the protests held by citizens during these 5 days as well as the statements and reactions of Prime Minister Edi Rama. Analyst Fatos Lubonja said that Rama has no point of reflection on the situation where Albania is.
“The bad thing about what Rama says is that there is no point of reflection on the situation where the country is. According to Rama, the state is working so that people do not pay the real value of electricity bills. These sorts of people cheat with numbers, but people do not know, do not remember. He is in the habit of lying in numbers. When he once said there are 20,000 Italian entrepreneurs, I was interested. There were 2,000,” he said.
Further on Lubonja said this is a gangster state. “He has built a gang of gangsters, the rest are treated like slaves to use them as he wants. What measures? The state has its own control instruments. It does not need a board. He should not have allowed them. Did he reduce the taxes? ” said Lubonja.
Artur Zheji spoke of the lack of a strategic development platform. According to him, there is no serious investment, recalling an oil refinery while the price of fuel has risen and this is one of the reasons for the protests.
“We have not built a plan because they are afraid of the word plan. The plan is a strategic plan that is built for the country. It is not a market violator. We have resources that we sell for 5 lekë but if we process them then they can be sold for 500 lekë and such a thing makes us independent. But he does not want this. He will take his own tax, and what Albanians do – they wander around the world … This comes either from ignorance, or from bad advisers, or from a deeper conspiracy,” said Zheji. /Argumentum.al
