TIRANA, December 13 – Albania will not help Kosovo with police forces if the tension escalates in northern areas of that country.
Serb President Aleksandar Vucic has recently announced his intention of deployment of 1000 military troops to northern Kosovo where tension is high due to the aggressive actions of Serb community there.
But Rama told journalists after a meeting with Socialist Party district leaders on Tuesday that Kosovo is a country protected by internationals.
The PM didn’t see any reason for Albania to help Kosovo with police forces.
“Which are the reasons that Kosovo should have police forces on its territory whose integrity is protected by an entire international community?” Rama told the media in a rhetoric question. /Argumentum.al
