TIRANA, November 15 – The head of the Freedom Party (FP), Ilir Meta, emphasized during a press conference on Wednesday that Albania lost 200 million euros in arbitration with the CEZ company. When asked about the appearance in SPAK for the CEZ-DIA file, Meta said that that action aims to relativize the issue of incinerators.
“I want to tell you another case, that Edi Rama is responsible for Albania losing at least 200 million euros from CEZ when he came to power because CEZ was in arbitration,” said Meta. “Edi Rama, in a completely suspicious manner, not only withdrew from the arbitration but also made other agreements to the detriment of the state and to the detriment of Albanian citizens.”
According to him, the other CEZ-DIA issue is a completely political issue.
“All of this is a propaganda effort, not only to divert attention to adjudicated cases but at the same time to relate the affair of the incinerators whose cost is increasing not 430 million euros as it was but despite the sights and all the other things in total it is going almost 1 billion euros,” said FP head. /argumentum.al
