History has taught us about the behavior of leaders in critical situations and the solutions of old issues by ‘washing their hands’ like Pontius Pilate with the condemnation of Jesus Christ. Modern Pons Pilates, focused on their image and power, do not just wash their hands but raise their ‘popularity’ by using the victim for political benefits.
Edi Rama is not a simple populist and ridiculous ‘patriot’ but a rare demagogue, dedicated in his projects and ideas, to elevate a power, morally destroyed by corruption and abuses and politically deviated from our western future.
Edi Rama was not in Strasbourg as Hashim Thaci’s defender. If he was as such, we would applaud and admire him for protecting our hero of the Kosova Liberation War and the heroic organization of KLA.
He has long since denied this war when he collaborated with the young Serbian nationalists, the successors of Milosevic, for a solution against the interests of Kosova, by not accepting the Serbian genocide perpetrated against the Albanian people, while insisting on the Open Balkans, an anti- European and against the interests of the Republic of Kosova; by demanding the division of Kosova for a joint president with Albania; justifying Vucic at every step, a tool of the Russian regime in the Western Balkans.
Rama’s rhetoric was not aimed for justice for the hero Hashim Thaci, but to increase his influence in Albanian spaces to harm Kurti and Osmani, as the main obstacles for the Open Balkans. He is trying to divide Kosova at a time when international pressure on Serbia has increased greatly. He is trying to save himself and Vucic as a factor of stability in the Balkans by using false patriotism and empty rhetoric, for an issue that he himself has been promoting for the establishment of these courts.
He has been in power for years and if he had the desire he would have found a way to protect Hashim Thaçi and Kosova with concrete acts of protection and integration between the two countries, but he chose Vucic and Serbia as a partner, thinking that he breaks taboos and writes history.
He forgot that when Ramush Haradinaj was being held hostage in France by Vucic’s fabricated police documents, he was projecting the ‘future of the Balkans’ with the Serbian president, and considered Ramush an obstacle, and later even sued the Prime Minister of Kosova in court.
He cooperated with Thaçi in their project with Vucic on dividing the borders, but he never remembered to tell his “brother” Vucic to withdraw the charges fabricated by the Serbian services against Thaci. They use you and later throw you away so as not to share the glory with others.
In Strasbourg, Rama proved himself to be a showman in a show that the MPs not only did not buy but also rejected. His destination was not Strasbourg but Prishtina. His future is the Open Balkans, not the United Europe. His rhetoric is a continuation of the rhetoric to devalue the European institutions as incompetent and unworthy of their mission.
He has been working against the European future of Albania for a long time by ‘cursing’ Europe and justifying his Putin-alike regime. He seeks to drag Kosova along his dubious path, where only Vucic knows where he will drop the anchor.
