While the deputies supporting the resigned chairman, Lulzim Basha demand negotiations with the Re-establishment Commission for the Union of Democratic Party (DP), the member of this Commission, Gent Strazimiri said on Tuesday that the Democrats have no issues to negotiate towards the union and so it should happen through vote.
Strazimiri called on the deputies to participate in the Assembly on April 30, while he also responded to the temporary DP head, Enkelejd Alibeaj for the removal of former veteran leader Sali Berisha. “After the latest developments in the blue headquarters, the DP deputies, already divided into two camps, have a common goal, the unification of this political force. But while Lulzim Basha’s confidants articulate conditions and describe the members of the Re-establishment Commission as” “suspended”, on the other hand, the representatives of this Commission say that there is nothing to be negotiated on the DP, but it should be the vote that will decide the re-establishment of this force,” said Strazimiri.
According to him, there is nothing to divide in the ‘cake’, and that’s why he called on MPs to join the April 30 Assembly. /Argumentum.al
