TIRANA, March 30 – The Minister of Finance Ibrahimaj said that the increase of prices has made the government approve the decision on the anti-crisis package whose first issue is the indexation of pensions.
According to her revelations on Tuesday, it is approved an indexation by 3.3%. This is higher than the forecast, as it was supposed to be indexed by 2.4% by law. For 3 months, pensioners who have a pension equal to half the minimum wage or less will receive 3000 ALL subsidy.
“3.3% indexation of pensions means 3.3 billion ALL. The initial forecast was 2.4%, however due to the increase in prices the indexation will be up to 3.3%. Some 2500 lek is the addition for an average family regarding the increase of basket prices, but we have given 3000 lek,” said Ibrahimaj. /Argumentum.al
