TIRANA, August 19 – Deputy Police Commissar of Elbasan Anisa Kostani has become ‘famous’ on social networks because she kept a snake as a pet. Kostani has made some offensive comments towards journalists in a post on social networks and she accused them of not seeing the successes of the police of this city.
Everything started after the media reported about the murder of Madrit Ulqinaku in Elbasan by 18-year-old Horgito Peqini, who has not yet been caught by the police.
The Police Deputy Commissar went that far threatening journalists, using offensive language. Kostani described the journalists as degenerate people and that they had taken the exams through favors from “Don Juan professors”.
Based on this language full of threats made public by local media and other extravagant posts placed by her on social networks, the Police Surveillance Agency has started the procedure of an in-depth administrative investigation.
The Director General of Police Gledis Nano made a comment on the event announcing the suspension from the Deputy Commissar from her duties.
