TIRANA, August 25 – Prime Minister Edi Rama is blackmailing the prosecution authority for serious crimes (SPAK), has said the Chairman of the Freedom Party (FP), Ilir Meta, who brought to attention the statement of the head of the government who said that the Special Prosecutor’s Office is created by the Socialist Party (SP).
In an interview for Euronews Albania on Thursday, Meta said that he is not afraid of justice, while adding that Rama has committed the biggest crimes by speculating with the US.
“What Rama says to SPAK: you are a creature of SP, we make and unmake you. These talks he told me like this, not like that, they have no value for me. I am that politician who is not afraid of justice. If SPAK produces summer news from the Renaissance media that are paid by the incinerators, we can give all the names of the media and journalists who receive money from the incinerators,” said Meta.
In addition Meta, a former president, thought that the biggest frauds and crimes in Albania were committed by Edi Rama speculating with the US. “It is a violation of American laws. This is proven with Mr. Bilal in America who has served time. He has been saved due to a cooperation agreement. What Edi Rama says is rubbish,” said Meta.
In the meantime he said that there is not and never was a file on Ilir Meta. According to him, the files have been opened continuously since ’92. “In this case, we are not dealing with the opening of files. We are dealing with an ugly process of manipulating the file of a former student, not Ilir Meta. There has never been a file on Ilir Meta, who was pursued by the State Security,” he said, adding that he will file a lawsuit against the File Authority for forgery in September.
Meta stated that his last name is Metaj and that his personal certificate has already been made public.
