TIRANA, November 28 – The chairman of the Freedom Party (FP), Ilir Meta congratulated the holiday of November 28 in the context of the 110th anniversary of the proclamation of independence. Through a post on Facebook on Monday, Meta said that the patriotism and sacrifices for the national flag should be the torch to protect Albania from new dangers.
“Today, on the National Flag Day, we bow with respect to the bright work of Ismail Qemali and the Fathers of Independence, who founded the modern state 110 years ago, having as a sacred ideal the Motherland and its destiny,” said Meta, a former president. Further Meta stressed that the patriotism, sacrifices and blood shed for the National Flag should at all times be the torch that illuminates Albanians’ minds and the right path where they should walk to protect Albania from any new dangers and to make this land blessed as prosperous as possible, where today all Albanians and their children live with dignity and pride.
