TIRANA, August 11 – Preparations for the creation of a technical government in Albania will begin in September, the Chairman of the Freedom Party (FP), Ilir Meta declared in a press conference on Thursday.
Asked about the position of the head of the parliamentary group of the Socialist Party (SP), Taulant Balla regarding legal intervention to review the certificate of purity of the image of anyone who has got involved in politics, Meta said that there was a very serious objection to this initiative because there are other jobs in Albania in September.
“We will work for a technical government, because we have to deal with the issue of negotiations (with the EU), because there is no chance of making any progress with this government. My point is this. Parliament should convene now,” said Meta.
Meta, a former president, said that, “in the case of I.M, the situation is very dramatic because it is 1000% proven that a serious violation of the constitutional order has occurred.
