TIRANA, June 18 – Prime Minister Edi Rama was convinced that the Socialist Party (SP) will win the local power elections next year and three mandates in the parliamentary elections in 2025.
This was revealed by the Prime Minister, at the same time chairman of the Socialist Party, in Peshkopia on Saturday where he declared SP has a long way to go to achieve the objectives to make Albania the country that everyone deserves in 2030.
“I am convinced that not only in the next local elections where we must definitely reconfirm the mayor whom you have received very well, whom Dibra has voted en masse and for whom even today you speak I hear only good words, “Rama said, adding that SP must regain those 3 mandates in the next general elections.
“The reason why we have been successful in relation to everyone else, but also in relation to ourselves is that we have not felt over satisfied after winning the election, but we have started to react in the first place by seeing the results well and we tried to read the results properly,” said Rama
Speaking about the elections, Rama said that
“We have got a bad result in the last general elections in Dibra and we have not achieved the goal; it is one of the few areas or regions where we did not achieve our goal,” said the PM.
But, Rama added, we had a very positive revival in the local by-elections, where it was seen very clearly that when socialists want, there is nothing that prevents them from achieving the goal. /Argumentum.al
