TIRANA, September 2 – The police of the coastal city of Vlora have announced that
two police officers were shot with firearms in motion at an “Audi” type vehicle in which they were traveling.
According to the police, the officers escaped unhurt from the gun attack on Friday. The police officers were out of working hours, driving in a private vehicle. Meanwhile Shkodra, northern Albania, was shocked again on Friday afternoon, after a person was executed with a gun near his apartment. The police said that 57-year-old Ismet Cekorja was called by someone to leave the house, and as soon as he came out, he was shot dead in front of his house.
In another announcement the police said citizen B. S., 46 years old, was shot and wounded in Peshkopia, northeastern Albania, on Friday afternoon.
