After the decision taken this Tuesday by the Court of Appeal, which decided that Sali Berisha should keep the seal of the Democratic Party as chairman, the latter reacted through a Facebook status.
Through his post, the chairman of the Democratic Party thanked all the democrats who supported him in the December 11 assembly. He said that this is not just a victory for him, but for democracy.

A message to members and supporters of PDSH!
Dear democrats and democrats, supporters and supporters of DP.
Today is the day to thank and bow with the greatest respect before every Democrat and Democrat who wrote history in the December 11th assembly!
This is not the story of Sali Berisha, but the story of democracy and opposition, it is the embodiment of the axiom that God is with the strong and the brave!
No one more than democrats have proven this over these 30 years, in 1992 during the overthrow of dictatorship, in 97 during the red rebellion, but and today where despite the pressure of injustice threats they managed, not to be caught, not to be sold and above all not to disappear!
Stood for the Flag!
History will recognize this decision the great merit of preventing a real pattern for the country, the capture of political pluralism by the state party.
But today is also a good day for every democrat who is not with Sali Berisha, but who is with the Democratic Party with its Flag as this moment removes them the gap of separation with most of their brothers and sisters!
Today the door for them is open and respect for their contributions and thinking differently is guaranteed!
Today we must unite around the invincible Flag of our battles.
Today Sali Berisha has not won, but democracy. The only one lost today is Edi Rama.
Our common goal should be to unite for his overthrow and restore hope to Albanians to realize together the delayed rotation, the rescue of Albania!
