Lulzim Basha has the seal of the Democratic Party (DP), but has no political legitimacy, said Prime Minister Edi Rama in an interview on a local TV on Thursday.
In a comment on the events of January 8 at the DP headquarters Rama said it was neither Albanian nor a citizen like as citizens do not make armored doors. “What are you arming the doors for? You call the police, and tell them if you are okay,” he said, adding that the DP adversaries have lost their political legitimacy.

Now with whom should I be with the armored doors or the batons? This is a very difficult choice,” Rama said.
Regarding the position of the US Ambassador, Yuri Kim, Rama said that, “the US Ambassador represents a country which has not only put the red line on Sali (Berisha), but is behaving in the most ridiculous way like a Don Quixote.”
Meanwhile, Rama stated that a normal president should be found for the country, as Ilir Meta is the most abnormal in the whole gallery of abnormalities that the country has had.
