Aleksandar Vučić: My duty is to take care of Serbia and its citizens

After taking the oath in the National Assembly, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, pointed out in his address that he wants to be the President of all and for all, and that he will do everything in the best interest of Serbia.

“There is no greater part, obligation, no greater pride than the fact that you lead your country.” No greater duty to present it with pride. I received all that and the obligation, duty, honor and pride from the citizens in the elections. “They are an expression of the will of the convincing majority, which has indebted me and most of you again to do our job, not always as the majority wants, but to do what is in the best interest of Serbia,” he emphasized.

Running the country is not a politics of desire but a politics of reality

The President of Serbia stated today that leading the country is not a policy of desires but a policy of the possible and a policy of reality, and that the most important thing is to be committed to the future of our children.

In that context, Vučić called for talks with one of, as he said, perhaps the greatest European leaders, which lasted as long as seven hours.

The key goal is for Serbia to be an even better country

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, pointed out today that the key goal of his second and last term will be that when he leaves this place, he knows that Serbia is a better country than it was when he took office.

“There is no sacrifice that I will not make for that goal, there is no thing that I will do, no effort that I will not be ready for. Because there is no compromise with ideals. That is the only thing about which there is no compromise, and everything else is subject to it. “And not an ugly word. Serbia is my only ideal,” Vucic emphasized.

Serbia acts in accordance with the principles of international law and condemns its violation

Aleksandar Vučić said today that he was proud of Serbia, which today behaves in accordance with the principles of international public law and knows how to condemn its violation unequivocally and clearly, but also of Serbia, which has neither anti-Western nor Russophobic behavior.

“Dostoevsky and Shakespeare, Goethe and Hemingway are welcome here, which is something that Serbia can be proud of, even if it was one of the few countries in the modern world,” Vucic said in the Serbian parliament after taking the oath of office for a new five-year term. countries.

I did not choose the parliament before which I will take the oath

President Vučić stated today that, as some accuse him, he did not choose before which parliament he would take the oath, since he could only do so today, when his previous mandate expires.

“I am looking forward to the formation of a new parliament soon and I hope that all election activities will be completed soon. 2017) “, said Vučić.

I want the government to be formed by the end of July

After taking the oath in the National Assembly for the second term, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, said that he wanted the new government of Serbia to be formed by the end of July.

“Forming a new government is crucial, having in mind the situation we are in, a difficult situation. We all have to think together today, and I cannot do it alone, as someone who has received great support from the people, we need a government and it will work. “which has full legitimacy, not in a technical mandate. We have to deal with new sanctions, in which we can be damaged again, so we will beg European partners to be spared,” he said.

New government as soon as possible, to deal with winter and energy

President Vučić said today, after taking the oath in the parliament, that the new government must be formed quickly, among other things, because it is necessary for the state to urgently deal with the upcoming winter and supply Serbia with energy.

“The situation is alarming and it is important that we form a government as soon as possible, to dedicate ourselves to that, to set aside a lot of money and ensure the safety of citizens during the winter,” Vucic said in parliament.

There is no future without children for salaries and pensions to grow

Vučić pointed out today that it is important that salaries and pensions increase in the next period, adding that it is necessary to encourage the birth rate in our country, because otherwise, as he says, we have no one to leave the country to.

Speaking in the Serbian Parliament after taking the oath for a second term, Vučić said that inflation must not eat salaries and pensions, pointing out that the newly formed government will have to work on ensuring that pensions follow salaries.

We must be firmly on the European path

“The new government must be formed quickly, because it is necessary to urgently deal with the upcoming winter and supply Serbia, primarily with energy,” the president said.

Kosovo and Metohija will be a key issue, we must seek a compromise

Aleksandar Vučić stated today that the key political issue for us will be Kosovo and Metohija, because it will be a more important topic for the West as well, and that we must look for a compromise solution to that issue.

Speaking about the new government, Vučić said that what he expects from that government, and what he will dedicate himself to, is the country’s European path, adding that the European Union often serves as a stepping stone, as an obligatory part of incidental mention, something we can easily do. to criticize and attack.

Serbia will jealously guard military neutrality

Serbia will jealously guard its military neutrality, President Aleksandar Vučić emphasized today, addressing the Serbian Parliament after taking the oath for the second presidential term.

Vučić reminded that Serbia is not politically neutral because it is on the European path, but he pointed out that we must preserve military neutrality.

Serbia today would not be easy prey for anyone

“We are not attacking anyone, but I guarantee that no one will dare and will not be allowed to go to Serbia because Serbia is stronger,” said Vucic.

The doors of Belgrade will always be open for a good conversation with Zagreb and Sarajevo

“The doors of Belgrade will always be open for good talks with Zagreb and Sarajevo, but we will always protect the interests of international public law, respect for the Dayton Agreement, respect for the Constitution and the integrity of BiH,” said Aleksandar Vucic.

The President adds that we will always demand that there is no change in Dayton without the consent of all three peoples, and we will always be with the Republika Srpska.

Serbia will pay special attention to relations with Croatia

Aleksandar Vučić said today that Serbia will continue to improve relations with the countries in the region and always give a hand of unity and help to all its neighbors, and that in the coming period special attention should be paid to developing relations with Croatia.

President Vučić emphasized that Serbia has achieved a lot when it comes to improving relations with countries in the region and that now Serbia has never had better relations with Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey, especially because of the Open Balkans initiative with Northern Macedonia and Albania./Tanjung
