TIRANA, September 13 – “It has been 558 days since the official denunciation of this criminal affair and justice hasn’t acted. We are here to point the finger at this place of crime, so that SPAK can remove the veil that Rama has put in front of its eyes. To enforce the law and do the duty. To put the thieves and the ‘renaissance’ persons behind bars.”
This strong denunciation was made by the chairman of the Freedom Party (FP), Ilir Meta in the protest in front of the incinerator in Tirana which he called the ‘scene of crime’ on Tuesday.
“We are facing a criminal organization, whose leader is (PM Edi) Rama, and ministers, deputies, and directors. It is the largest organization ever to carry out this monstrous theft. This criminal organization leads the organized network. You know what this object behind me is. The government has given this object here for 30 years to an off-shore company on the condition that 128 million euros would be invested,” said Meta.
He asked where the investment of 128 million euros that should be made by the private sector on the condition that Tirana Municipality pays with your taxes is.
Further Meta asked if citizens get this service and where the incinerator was. Meta said the subcontractor who made the affair is Klodian Zoto, who received 128 million euros from the incinerator scheme and justified that money with shepherds’ firms, or people who declared 600,000 euros only for trips in the year of the pandemic.
“Let’s make it clear to them that these companies are already the property of everyone and no one will escape unpunished. We are here to call on the employees of the administration not to be used by Rama and not to become dummies for his interests,” said Meta. /Argumentum.al
