TIRANA, June 28 – Prime Minister Edi Rama said that Yuri Kim was the most American among the Albanians and the most Albanian among the Americans among all those who have stayed in the office of the American ambassador to Albania.
At the end of Ambassador Kim’s diplomatic mission in Albania, Rama dedicated an article on social networks released on Wednesday, where, among other things, he expressed his gratitude and thanks to her.
“Yuri Kim closed her mission in Albania. She stayed the same as all the other ambassadors, but her stay lasted longer than all the others put together. Because unlike all the others, she did not stay a day without appearing to the Albanians,” said Rama.
PM said that Yuri Kim left behind at first sight, friends and enemies, who loved or hated her, while closer to the truth is the fact that no one could love her without ever hating her and no one could hate her without loving her even once.
“Who more and who less, the ambassadors of the superpower in our country have fallen into the trap of the admiring sweetness of Albania, where America is seen as the Great Bear in the sky and an American ambassador is treated wherever he goes, like a friend fallen from the sky, and as a result, he falls into the trap and feels like a God on earth,” he said.
“At the end of her mission, I had no choice but to hand over to Ambassador Yuri Kim, the Great Star of Public Gratitude for how much she loved Albania, how much she tried to help Albania become a better place than what it was when she came,” concluded the PM. /argumentum.al
