On the day of the Liberation, Prime Minister Edi Rama conveyed views of Rruga e Arbrit, an important infrastructural development that adds to the wonderful nature and that was opened for circulation on Monday.
“Happy November 29!”, Wished Prime Minister Rama.
Arbri Road has 7 tunnels with a total length of 8.5 km. With a length of about 74 km, it will become an important East-West connecting corridor.
This strategic investment will not only bring the citizens of Tirana and all of Albania closer to Dibra and North Macedonia, but will be an artery of economic development and tourism.
This road connects the eastern and northeastern regions of Albania by improving the transport of residents living in the areas where the road passes, as well as providing transport of underground natural resources, such as chrome, from Bulqiza to the port of Durres, which is then exported.
Also, this road axis will be the shortest road connecting Tirana with Dibra, as well as with North Macedonia, Dibra e Madhe, Tetovo and Skopje, so it will be an international connecting road.
But the MP of Dibra district for the Democratic Party, Dhurata Çupi stated that Arbri Road is not over, but opens for propaganda. Cupi said the government should tell Dibra and Albanians whether they will pay up to 8 euros for a round trip.
“The rush to announce on November 29 the opening of Arbri Road, when the road has not yet ended according to the contract, is, at the very least, a mockery of the people of Dibra,” said the DP deputy. / Argumentum.al
