TIRANA, December 3 – The chairman of the opposition Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha has listed the reasons through a video on TikTok, why the opposition will protest on December 6, when the EU Summit with the countries of the Western Balkans will take place in Tirana.
Berisha said on Saturday that Albanians have become boat people so on Tuesday the opposition wants their voice to be heard.
The DP head brought to attention government scandals and thefts, depopulation as a national drama, the extortion of natural resources by the governors as well as the robbery of the vote by PM Edi Rama, who, according to him, has brought about this situation that the country is currently going through.
“So we are in this protest precisely to raise our voice that we are not poor people, but first of all we are stolen, that we do not vote freely and this kills the hope of Albanians turning them into “boat people”. So we want our voice to be heard,” said Berisha.
“The truth is that, today, Albania is a country in disintegration, from which more citizens left during his governing years than in Syria, which is experiencing a civil war,” Berisha said.
The leader of the opposition invited the citizens to the “Martyrs of the Nation” Boulevard in front of the Prime Minister’s Office in a national protest against misgovernance and depopulation of Albania on December 6 at 12:00. /Argumentum.al
