TIRANA, November 23 – The Democratic Party (DP) disclosed details about the meeting held between the DP chairman, Sali Berisha and the chairman of the Freedom Party (FP), Ilir Meta on Wednesday.
“Today, together with the general secretary of PD Flamur Noka, we held a meeting with the chairman of the Freedom Party, ex-President Ilir Meta, and the vice-chairman of this party, Petrit Vasili. The discussion was focused on coordinating the joint efforts of DP and FP to protect the interests of Albanian citizens from Edi Rama’s regime. Electoral and parliamentary cooperation were issues that were discussed in a spirit of full understanding,” said the announcement distributed by the DP press office.
The meeting between Berisha and Meta took place on Wednesday morning at the DP headquarters.
In another event, Berisha launched the following appeal: “Everyone on the Boulevard on Tuesday, December 6 at 12:00! Rama wants to eliminate the opposition.”
