TIRANA, November 28 – Iranian hackers have published the driving license data for 58,374 Albanian citizens in a document of 1081 pages.
It includes data such as identification number, first name, paternity, last name, date of birth, blood type, place of birth, residence, license number, date of issue and date of expiration of the license, according to local media.
The hackers have added in the document published on their Telegram page “Homeland Justice” on Monday a text in which they say:
“Is the safety of terrorists more important to you than the safety of Albanian “inventors”? You are not willing to pay the price for the safety and security of your people. So how do you spend government coffers on protecting and promoting terrorists? Does this mean anything other than government corruption? #Justice in the homeland!”
The step up of the release of confidential data of Albanian citizens and senior officials seems to not worry the government of PM Edi Rama as no official stance is made public. It is following the way of ignoring them but citizens are worried like it happened with the patronagists who had collected the private data of all Albanian voters. PM Rama praised them.
