TIRANA, December 6 – The head of the Freedom Party (FP), Ilir Meta spoke after the opposition protest, declaring on Tuesday that the attack on the head of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha, was a mafia assassination attempt orchestrated by PM Edi Rama.
Meta thanked Berisha, who, according to him, managed the situation in an excellent way after the attack that had the sole purpose of diverting a peaceful protest into a manifestation of violence with victims.
“While thanking the citizens, I want to express my gratitude to the DP leader, Professor Dr. Sali Berisha, for the excellent management he made of the mafia assassination attempt orchestrated by Edvin Kristaq Rama, which had only one goal – to divert a peaceful protest into a manifestation of violence with victim,” said Meta, who was by the side of the DP head when he was attacked brutally during the protest in Tirana on December 6, 2022.
“It is clear as the light of the sun that Rama brought out his true face today which no diplomats and ambassadors, no corrupt international mafia can change in his most extreme efforts ever seen to provoke and blame the opposition as the cause of the violence,” said Meta. He noted that Rama showed to all Albanians that he is the biggest enemy of social peace in the country, that he is the most bastard follower of that regime which caused so much drama and victims to the country for 5 decades.
In conclusion of his statement Meta said: “He (Rama) is the hostage taker of the European future of the country because of being taken hostage by criminal organizations not only in the continent but also beyond it. The opposition showed that it has all the right vision and stability to root out this criminal sect, which desecrates the constitution.” /Argumentum.al
