TIRANA, September 2 – The President of Italy, Sergio Mattarella will pay an official visit to Albania, which will contribute to the promotion of the bilateral relations between the two countries.
This was one of the topics discussed in a meeting of Speaker Lindita Nikolla with the Italian ambassador, Fabrizio Bucci on Friday.
Nikolla and Bucci discussed the advancement of cooperation between the two countries, said an announcement by the parliamentary press office.
Albania and Italy have an excellent cooperation and partnership, it was said.
Nikolla expressed gratitude to friendly Italy as an advocate of Albania’s European integration.
Albania is also grateful to Italy, which has become the home of Albanian immigrants, who work and contribute to the development of both countries.
