If the Democrats had not risen, the opposition would be a puppet in the hands of the government, said former Prime Minister Sali Berisha in Durres, where he presented to the Democrats his platform to take the leadership of the Democratic Party (DP). On May 22, the elections for the new chairman of the Democratic Party will be held as the former head, Lulzim Basha resigned after a division in the ranks of the largest opposition force in Albania.
PM Edi Rama has found an opposition doll that deals with it, but this time is over, Berisha declared, adding that Rama has not a calm spirit because the real DP after his return has defeated him three times and will defeat him in every race.
“His soul is not at peace. The country has real opposition now. I have to tell him that the real DP on foot has beaten you three times and will beat you in every race. Edi Rama, you are hopeless, to be clear,” said Berisha.
Further he said the revolution does not stop anymore and time is proving it. “Today we are here, the real opposition of Albania. If we did not stand up we would be a puppet. A tool of a government. You see the example in Rama-Alibasha relations,” said Berisha who runs for the post of DP head. /Argumentum.al
