TIRANA, September 19 – The Anti-Terrorism Unit in Kosovo has discovered an assassination plan to kill Prime Minister Albin Kurti in 2021.
The document was published by hackers who have been cyberattacking digital and government systems in Kosovo for several days and it is thought that the document has been obtained from the email of Gledis Nano, Albania’s former General Director of the State Police in 2021, said Euronews Albania on Monday.
The person suspected to carry out the assassination of Kurti is Prek Kodra, who, according to the data in the report, was said to have good skills in the use of snipers.
Also, it is suspected that he was involved in several murders in Kosovo and Montenegro.
The Anti-Terrorism Unit in Kosovo has received information about assassination attempts against Ismet Haxha, former member of the Kosovo Intelligence Service and Xhavit Haliti, member of the Democratic Party of Kosovo and former deputy.
