TIRANA, April 23 – Investigations continue regarding the serious incident of the disappearance of two 46-year-olds in Saranda, southern Albania. Leonard Thodhori known as “Kocole” and Fatmir Sulovari alias Fatmir Krasniqi have been declared missing for 15 days by their family members.
The police forces of Saranda in cooperation with the Operational Forces of Vlora have escorted several people residing in Saranda, mainly with criminal records. They were taken to Vlora where they were interrogated and it is not yet known whether they were released or detained.
Meanwhile, a “Mercedes-Benz ” type vehicle was found hidden in a warehouse near the village of Nivica, Himara Municipality, which is believed to be the vehicle with which Leonard Thodhori and Fatmir Sulovari were kidnapped. A “Range Rover” type off-road vehicle was seized in Qafe Gjashta, while 6 other vehicles were also taken for verification.
The police believe that the two missing persons have been executed and their bodies may be located in the territory of Konispol Municipality. /Argumentum.al
