TIRANA, November 21 – Ambassador Yuri Kim met on Monday with Brigadier General Arben Kingji for the first time in the capacity of Army Chief of Staff to strengthen US-Albania defense relations. They agreed to increase cooperation in the continuation of the historic exercise Defender Europe 2021 and in preparation for the upcoming exercise Defender Europe 2023.
Both discussed the positive impact of the headquarters of the US Special Operations Forces Command (SOCEUR) in Albania and the activities of the Brigade US Army Security and Assistance Forces (SFAB).
