TIRANA – “I warmly welcome the presentation of a joint list of Albanian political parties in the Presevo Valley for the June 21 parliamentary elections,” has said President Ilir Meta.
Meta lauded on Tuesday the decision of 5 Albanian political parties in the municipalities in the south of Serbia, in Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanovac, also known as the Presevo Valley, to run in the June 21 parliamentary elections with a unified electoral list.
According to him, massive participation of Albanians in the elections, cooperation of all Albanian political forces, as well as their close cooperation with the international community would guarantee the strengthening of Albanian population’s voice in Presevo Valley.
Parliamentary elections are scheduled to be held in Serbia on 21 June 2020. Initially organized for 26 April 2020, they were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic./argumentum.al
