TIRANA, May 17 – The opposition should come up with concrete proposals because the dialogue brings positive developments in this way, said the head of the Socialist Party (SP) parliamentary group, Taulant Balla after the meeting he had with representatives of the opposition in the Presidency of the Assembly on Tuesday. Balla met among others the head of the Democratic Party (DP) parliamentary group, Enkelejd Alibeaj and it has been agreed to hold another discussion on Wednesday.
“We have held meetings with the two largest groups of parliamentary groups and I hope that the DP will have flexibility and readiness for consensus. The flexibility has to do with a document they have submitted and I have expressed my readiness to talk and the right to propose the candidate something which we all have not only the opposition,” said Balla. He said it is a good thing that they have the opportunity to communicate and hopes that positive products will come from the dialogue.
“The Prime Minister said that Albania needs a president of all Albanians. Now Alibeaj came, and we finally agreed ts meet tomorrow,” said Balla. /Argumentum.al
