TIRANA, June 18 – Democratic Party (DP) deputy Ervin Salianji recalled the promise made by Prime Minister Edi Rama in a parliamentary session that Albania would have its satellites in space in the very near future.
“Edi Rama solemnly promised that in March and June this year he would launch two Albanian satellites in space and invited us not to laugh at his promise!” wrote Salianji in a Facebook post to which was attached the video where Rama made the statement, which caused a lot of laughter in the Parliament’s hall at that time.
Salianji further mocked the Prime Minister by saying that the only thing that is currently skyrocketing in Albania are the prices, both of fuel and food.
“When the two satellites that would make a name for Albania should have been in space this month, the prices of the basket and oil have skyrocketed! Today more than ever, citizens need the help of the government, not a government that allegedly flies in satellites,” said Salianji.
