TIRANA – The chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha has said that the Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic presents the Albanians as terrorists who are terrorizing the Serbs.
Former Prime Minister Berisha made this statement at a meeting with the citizens of Dibra, northeastern Albania, on Tuesday.
“Vucic presents us as terrorists. The Albanians are terrorizing the Serbs. Serbs are being tortured, he says. Either NATO stops them or I will stop them myself. I tell you that there is no minority more protected than the Serbian minority in Kosovo. All international organizations supervise it,” said Berisha who recalled that when he was PM Albania made investments for the Serb minority in northern Kosovo.
“Who is threatening the Serbian minority? Vucic and his hatred towards Albanians. Vucic is the brother of (Albanian PM) Edi Rama. Edi Rama became his lawyer at the NATO summit. He said ‘no’ to the NATO countries telling them not to ask him (Vucic) why he is not enforcing sanctions on Russia. Apart from ’45, Albania is more vassal than ever to Belgrade and shame on you how your government becomes an appendage of the hostile Belgrade government. This Vucic is little Putin, yes he is so little, yes he is as paranoid and cruel, only he doesn’t have his weapons,” said Berisha.
